Hi all,
I have dealt with this company for 30 years (well Hagen at least), and since I have seen a few questions from new keepers over the last couple of months regarding the Monsoons I wanted to get this thread into the search results of anyone researching misters.
The mister itself is very coarse in terms of the spray, my particular unit has defects in the electronics (timer), but worst of all is that their customer service is an immense headache to deal with.
Look elsewhere.
I was at a reptiles show last weekend and amazed at how fine a mist some of the other misters put out- can't wait to save up enough to get a better one!
I forgot to take a card from the vendor that had the best mister, it wasn't Mistking, I think a small company. If anyone has info on truly top-shelf misters could you post here for us? The spray came out almost as a fog which is great for not only fully saturating the plants and vines in the decor but also lessens the likelihood a splash of water will hit a hot bulb and shatter it.
