Gut loading with mango?

Would this be appropriate, or should I completely avoid mangos?

(Also, can someone give me advice on how to gut load? I don't know what I'm doing.. :()

You can use a bit of mango, but not all the time. It is quite high in sugar, and it has more phosphorous than calcium. Use it raw and peeled (the peel is quite high in oxalates). Here is some great gutloading info. - https://www.chameleonforums.com/blogs/sandrachameleon/75-feeder-nutrition-gutloading.html

Gutloading simply means feeding stuff to the insects before feeding the chameleon :)

Okay, thanks. I was just wondering because I have a mango in the fridge, and I currently don't have any cricket food, so I don't want them to die.

If I gut load with high calcium products do I still dust calcium every day?
I know about the multivitamins and D3 every two weeks, but if I have a high calcium gutload will I have to dust as much?

Yes, still use the plain calcium every day, just a very light coating is best :)
The commercial gutload that I use is called Bug Burger. I also use fresh fruit and veg of course, just rotating the food for variety.

depends what type of feeder/prey you are offering. If you're talking about crickets, yes continue to LIGHTLY dust those with calcium

Okay. I'm trying to take care of my cham as well as possible, so thanks for the advice. Don't want my little guy being unhealthy :(
