I got a chameleon a year ago, in the first week i could pick him up fine now as soon as i put my hand in his cage he goes black hisses at me at tries to bite me, i would like to know if anyone could help me to try and get on the road to taming hime? thanks!

Hello, welcome to the forum The easiest way to get to hold a cham is to get him to come towards you himself. If you can hand feed him that could get him happier to see you. Sometimes it is just a more territorial phase they go through when they become adults, but your guy should probably be over it after a year..........
Obviously always move slowly and don't try to pick him up from the back or top.
