Growth Rate

Hi again guys,

I need a bit more help and can't find what I'm looking for in previous threads. Right...it's about 3 weeks till we get our veiled cham. At the moment he's like 5 weeks old so he will be 8 weeks when we get him. Now the guy at the pet shop (not that I believe anything he tells us anymore) says he will be full size in 12 weeks. Is this true? I'm just wondering incase we need to buy a different size tank.

They reach full maturity at 12-18 months. females 14-18", Males 18-24".

Are you sure you didn't just mis-recalled months for weeks? He could have said 12 months...

I'm buying from him because I know he looks after them. I just don't thin he know sall that much about chameleons. He definately said 12 weeks though. He has grown alot in 2 weeks. He's 7 weeks old now and we're getting him next week.

Chameleons usually are full grown by around 12months to 18months

12 weeks he will only be about 7 inches roughly (most likely).
