Grey Patch on Belly???

Hi Everyone,

Jenny, my veiled, is doing great....eating, drinking and getting plenty of water. However, today I noticed a 'grey patch' on her belly area that hasn't been there before. When I was giving her the 'shower' with a dripper, I noticed that not even the water dripping along her belly changed the color. Anyone ever noticed this before?

A picture of the area will help loads! Lily gets dark grey/black patches on her sides when she gets showered, but it's just her white scales darkening where she's a bit colder than normal or a bit grumpy. It could also be a bruise. If you post a pic I'm sure other members will be able to help more.

ya i agree possibly a bruise, may b a burn, or worst case scenario a skin problem. Hopefully its nothing!

Lol! Dont be embarrassed....I think everyone has those "OMG what's happening?!?" moments on experiencing their first shed.

Just keep an eye on it though in case its not and post a picture

Surely it's better to ask and feel a bit silly if it's nothing, than to not ask and find out the hard way when things go wrong! If you don't ask, you don't get! A pic would still be useful just to confirm things.
