My female was gravid when I bought here. She was about ready to lay again and I placed in a soil/sand mixture for her to lay. Now she does not look gravid. Could anything have happen? I dug through the soil just to check if she laid and found nothing. Her stomach was huge for the last week and half and now it is not. I could feel the pearl like eggs in her stomach so I am not sure what is going on. Is this normal or is something wrong with her? I felt her stomach and I could not find anything. What should I do?

Pictures really help. The girls are smart and usually lay in the corner of the bin you last look for them in. If skinny in one day, I'd do a re-look.

I would also check the soil of any and all plants in her enclosure.
Check whole cage. She does not have any plants yet. I just bought them some today. Maybe I am just worrying too much. I will check to see again in a day or two to see if she laid. But not eggs so far. I just wasn't sure if she moved them in her body before she laid and that is why she looked thinner. She is not too thin but just thinner. I just cannot see the eggs like before.
