The last picture showed what I wanted to see...her arms and legs looked a little crooked in the first picture due to the angle. This last picture shows them as straight and good!
You said..."so how often would you recommend i dust the crickets?"...I dust them with a phosphorous-free calcium powder lightly at most feedings.
I dust them twice a month lightly with a phos.-free calcium/D3 powder and I dust them twice a month. D3 from supplements can build up in the system so be careful with it. D3 is produced when a chameleon is exposed to UVB light that does not pass through glass or plastic...but if they don't get it from sunlight then the D3 powder might be needed.
Twice a month I dust with a vitamin powder that contains a beta carotene source of vitamin A. Beta carotene can not build up in the system. Some people also give them a little preformed vitamin A...but its easy to overdose....so you have to be really careful if you do.
Appropriate basking temp. helps with digestion.
Calcium, phos., vitamin D3 and vitamin A are the main players in bone health and need to be in balance.
