I recently lost a baby panther that I bought at NARBC from LLL reptliles. All of these animals were advertised as CB. When I brought it home I noticed it was a little lethargic but figured it was just due to the change of environment. It was eating fine and my temps and humidity was good also. All of the sudden on Saturday it fell off it's perch and wouldn't hold onto anything. We tried everything we could including LLL. They inadvertently told me that it was a WC and it probably had parasites.

I digress...I am interested in getting another panther but I want to be sure that I get it from reputable breeder this time. I have looked at Screameleons and The Chameleon Kingdom, but I want to get some input from those of you who have been at this longer than I have. Any advice would be appreciated.

Sorry to hear about your loss. I would say if this is your first cham to go with one that is already well started from a known breeder. Personally I have only done business with Chuck G from heroicchameleons.com, Jim from chameleoncompany.com, and Lancecham from here on the forums. They all get 2 thumbs up from me. I know Chuck has an older Iron man offspring available that should turn out killer. Jim has great well started chams for a great price and Lance usually has some nice well started chams for sale. You can expect to be 100% satisfied with any of them. Also you can check the site sponsors. You should be able to rest assured that you will be recieving a nice healthy animal from any of them also.
