I post a thread about my new cham, Tini, with some pictures. A couple people said that she looked like she was getting the coloring of a male, even though I was told she was a male. So I took some pictures of her(his.?) back feet and her body to see what you guys think. Thanks. Here's the pictures of her/him and his/her feet. :D

do you know the females can lay eggs without being mated? You will need to get a laying bin in your cage when she gets to be about 5 months old or so.

yeah, that's what I've been told. they said shes anywhere from six to eight months old. right now shes just in a tank until I get my DIY cage. what should I do for that.?

when are you getting the cage? She is not pregnant now so don't worry. It is just something you want to have just in case. You will notice her getting fatter, not eating much traveling down to the bottom looking for places to dig....that is when you want to make sure you have the bin.

I don't know yet. When she is pregnant do I move her somewhere else.? Like in a different place to lay them.? I lost the forum that said what to put in the laying bin...

Thank you!
Is it a real difficulty when they are about to lay eggs.?
It seems like there are quite a few horror stories about them dying....
I really do like her, even though her weight still bothers me.
I'm just excited she lets me hold her, and doesn't get mad unless i move to fast. :)
And she fed from my hand last night so I feel we're moving along nicely.
This little girl has made me fall in love with chameleons.

I cannot speak from exerience as I have never owned a female but I have sure read alot of things on here that have not been too favorable. Sometimes, no matter what you do and provide the laying bin and everyhting, they wont lay and then you have to get them to a vet and they still may end up dying. But that is not in every case, and there are many success stories too.
