Getting ready to grow or just being a fatty??

Yesterday Kuzco ate 20 crickets.

Today, Kuzco ate 15 crickets, 4 black soldier flies, and 10 phoenix worms.

What the heck?? Oh and he was still interested in food when I went by the cage with the cricket bin

Note: I don't always give in and let him decide to eat forever. Today he just seemed ravenous.

Anyone else have a fatty?

Every once in a while Zaphod will eat a bunch (20) of crickets in one day, and the next day he will maybe eat two or three. Can't say he has had THAT big a meal . I notice he will eat a lot after not eating much the previous day, so it kinda makes sense. As long as your "fatty" doesn't make a habit of it, you should be O.K. As for growth spurt, I don't have an answer. Seems to me they always are having a growth spurt in the first year!!!

He was so hungry!! Lol I was worried.

But today he only ate 15 crickets and wasn't interested in his snack.

I was worried he was going to make himself sick in some way but he was fine todaylol.
After he ate he hung his belly off the branches lol
