Getting ready for bed early

My male veiled is 9 months old. Lately, as we have had another washed out summer here in the U.K. (It's getting dark sooner already!) Any ways. Lately, my veiled has been ''getting ready for bed'' earlier. Around 7:30pm. This is when it starts getting a bit darker outside and grey. Although his lights are on i'm quite sure he's sensitive to the lights around my room and outside. Could this be a problem? I've had him since fed and haven't had this problem before. He doesn't actually go to sleep but gets into the place where he does eventually sleep.

My guys get in bed an hour earlier and even get up before the lights come on when it is dusk and pre dawn.

That is normal behavior. They move to their resting spot prior to lights out and just like you said "get ready for bed"

There are reports of many member's chameleons (including mine) going to their bed spot early regardless of the lighting schedule.
I believe they somehow "sense" the real sun schedule and decided to follow the real thing.

It's perfectly normal provided that your chameleon follow the sun schedule.
If you are worried, you can match the light timer to be off during sunset and on during sunrise.

I always copy the sun's schedule as well.
