I was strongly recomended a small aquarium at most 5 gallons, i got a 2.5 gallon glass aquarium. I am gonna glue some coconut husk onto the 3 sides, and have a baby in there til i feel he is big enough.

Is that right? or should it be bigger?

What should i use to glue coconut husk to glass?

Thanks

They are crested geckos, im gonna get 1 or 2 not sure yet.

Ive been reccomended brown silicone, how will this work? just put it on, and spread it, then put cochusk? or just puit it on thick, and then cocohusk?

I caulk around the edge of whatever I use I don't use loose material on the background it comes in easy to handle sheets.

Hi, if they are just babies (under 1-1.5") then a 2.5 will be okay. But cresties CAN and will get big (6-8") you are going to need something bigger then a 5gal tank, and they do need height as they like to climb. Provide them with foliage, and thick braches as they can get shy.

I put my babies in Kritter Keepers with some fake foilage and papertowel tubes and line with papertowels. Are you planning on feeding it Crested Gecko Diet? When they get bigger you can put them in a 10 or 20 gallon tank on its end. The kind with the sliding screen works the best. Please don't feed your gecko baby food, its not good for them.

Ok..

Im going there in a hour or so, to look and possibly buy. I am going to get 1 female and 1 male i believe.

i plan on putting them in a 10 gallon tank most likely. together? if there old enough. and... will have a 30 gallon tank by next week. Otherwise for now i could seperate them into 2 differant tanks. :)

My Cresties are in an 18x18x18 exo terra, but you can put them in a ten gallon just fine also you should separate them in the winter for a few months. If you don't want to breed them than you should always have them separated
hope this helps

Thanks, i dont mind about breeding them, if theyh dont sell i know many people that will take them.

I am going to get them in about 5 mins, :)

Excited.
