Future second chameleon...

I have had my female veiled, Stella, for about a month now and she is doing great. I know pretty much all the basics of chameleon keeping. Now the question is what to get next. I am fascinated by carpets, and i like smaller chams. So they are on the top of my list. I also love Nosy Be's because blue is my favorite color. So what do you guys suggest my next cham be? I probably won't be getting it for a couple of months, but I am just curious as to what the experts suggest.

I personally like pygmys.
They are sweet and are an uncoventional kind of cham :p
Plus you can keep them in groups of 4 I think.

Panthers are awesome though obviously because of their amazing colours!

I love Nosy Be's, I think they are just stunning. Blue is such a peculiar color for animals. However, carpets are beautiful as well, but since I don't have any experience with them I can't really say how they are to keep. Jackson's aren't all that big, especially Mt. Meru dwarf Jackson's. They're really pretty, have the cool little horns, and are also very unique.

I would sooooo love to have a carpet, but they just don't fit into what I am doing. They are just lovely and stay fairly small.

Mt Meru will be next for me! :D That's if I can find one. I think those l'il guys with horns are way too cute!:D However, gary1621's pygmy hatchlings are really cute too, so I might be tempted by some Pygs at some point!

We're currently waiting on our next lil guy from Chroma.. already have a name picked out and everything! He's a blue bar ambilobe with some great genes!

In the future though, I'd looooove to get some pygmies.. and mellers (space allowing of course lol) gah.. I want so many!

There were lots of these at the last show I went to, for the first time, and I was soooo tempted to get a tiny male :D They are just so darn cute.

So far I love my carpets I got from Dooley/Kevin. They are cb also so no worries about parasites. If you want to get into carpets i would suggest waiting for a cb one to come up for sale on the classifieds. Its much easier working with captives as opposed to wild caughts, particularly when working with a new species. jmo
