You have 2 months to do some serious reading...and you can start right at the top of this forum. There are sticky messages about basic cham care that will get you off to a great start! Please spend time roaming around on the forum and when you get some specific questions please feel free to come back again.

BTW, chams are not all that "trainable" other than to learn that you are not going to eat them and that you bring them good things. They do recognize people who are around them daily. They are not very social in general, but it varies a lot so hard to predict! Most don't really enjoy being held and are mostly a see and don't touch type of pet. You can occasionally hold them, take them out of their cage, etc. but I wouldn't count on taking them on errands perched on your shirt or something like that. Lots of people and activity around will stress them if it happens all the time.

Hello, welcome to the forum :) This a great place to look at pictures of Chameleons and decide which one you want most. There's also loads of great information on looking after them (and all the insects). Any questions you have just ask if you can't find it easily someone will post up a link or answer for you.

Welcome and congrats on the beginning of your new journey! Any idea on which Cham you'd like to have??
