Hi all can anyone tell me what is the best way to get a cham to go for fruit or veg.I've tried hand feeding cup feeding and leaving a dish all to no avail.any suggestions I have a male veiled about 6 months old and heard they eat quite a bit of vegetation so is like to get him going on it

Does he eat your plants? Some hang a leaf in the viv for them to munch on. I hear small raspberries are popular with some. It could be the colour. Can you mix some small pieces in with feeders? Some chams just don't go for fruit and veg.:)

If yours will hand feed you can try slicing small bite size pieces and feeding by hand. You put a piece on your finger and sort of wiggle it around. Makes them think it is a bug or something :D. I feed my guy small, thin carrot slices that are about the size of mealworms. When I wiggle them on my fingers he reacts like he's looking at a worm. He really goes for those!

wow nice technique I ll try it!

I got Smeagol to eat blueberries by just rolling a small one back and forth
on my hand. After a few minutes, and my arm feeling like a lead weight, he
went for it.
Now, he recognizes them and gobbles them right up.
So first time with a new food, always takes some patience :)
