Frog question

So in the spring,I usually collect a couple of the local wood frogs left to die after their last year of breeding. This guy has been with me since last spring, with no other health issues.
Recently he started arching his hips way over his back, which was odd, but he seemed otherwise fine, and was still eating.

Yesterday I noticed this happening, and separated him from the other frog I have (in a 45 gal long paludarium).

He’s now in a quarantine/observation bucket, but does anyone have any idea why he’s losing the pigment in his skin? It appeared almost overnight, what could it be?
