Six months before I got my cham, I spent tons of money and time setting up a free range. I wanted to get everything just right. I thought it was pretty good.

Well, he's decided to sleep in the window blinds tonight.

Sigh.

:) Actually, your mistake was right in your post: "I thought it was pretty good". YOU are a human. Your cham will never agree with a human!

Yes, I'm a newbie. I'm learning, I'm learning!

I wouldn't worry about the newbie part of it. It has taken me several trying to make Lenny sort of happy. I am still working at it. Just decide he is much happier that in a cage, but know he will go explore everyplace he can.

Oh, explore he does! I took him outside to "bask" in the sun a couple times last week and all he did was roam around . . the deck, the yard, the garden, the neighbor's yard, . . .of course with me two steps away the whole time! Since then he has started "exploring" a bit more in the house!

Mine did the same thing. I got him a huge scheffelara to play on, set up vines etc. Found him 8 feet away on the slotted blinds. Damn near gave me a heart attack when I went to mist him and couldn't find him.

Well, it's comforting to know that my cham isn't the only one attracted to slotted blinds!
