Soooo my mom has a huge compost bin in her garden, and she has a WHOLE COLONY of BSFL in there! I'm so glad she mentioned this to me, because I would have NEVER thought to ask! Check it outttttt! She also has tomatoes and tomatoes = hornworms ;) free food for my future cham!

Hornworms that ate tomotoes are poisonous for chams. Do not feed any of the hornworms you find unless they are VERY far away form anything tomato.
EEEEK! Thank you so much for pointing that out! That's the first time I've ever heard of that, and I've been lurking on this site for a few months! Also, do you know why? I'm definitely not doubting the info, I'd just like to know what makes the tomato ones so dangerous so I can tell my mom later haha

I have no idea, I just know they are poisonous, or at least will make them sick.

Tomato’s are toxic to chameleons so when the hornworm eats the tomato plant, if the chameleon eats the hornworm then the poison is passed on to the chameleon.
