Hello folks,
I just stumbled upon a tupperware full of dubias that has been untouched for 3 weeks. Allow me to explain:
About a month ago I ran into some weird health problems and I had to begin multiple medications at one time, some of the side effects include fatigue, dizziness and in combination I have noticed I am forgetting some things -- work keys, I'm early to a bunch of appointments lately, and apparently I forgot a blue tupperware container with about 20 dubias in it. It slipped behind a plant I put next to Mona's enclosure. I have multiple tupperwares so I guess I just didn't notice one had slipped away...all the feeders are stacked on top of each other in containers on a table in the room Mona is in.
Not only did not a single one die -- but there seem to be some little tiny guys that weren't there before? (I, obviously, cannot be trusted to remember small details, or containers full of roaches, so who knows.) The container--obviously full of feces -- didn't even smell bad!
Now -- I put them in a new container and gave them some food and I'm wondering -- can I still feed them off? I know roaches are almost indestructible... I'll wait a while to make sure they're, well clean for lack of a better word... but does any bug lord here think I should not?
