my cham seems to hold on my hand "gentlely" if he is just sitting there he wont be squeezing the heck out of my hand, but if he it reaching far he will squeeze really good.

should he be always gripping my hand with such force or does he know that he is safe from falling on my hand, and doesnt think he needs to grip so hard?

also he has dirty back feet. the pads are sort of brown. are these burns or are they just ruboff of the bendi vines i have in there?

the more i see wrong with other peoples chams the more i think something is wrong with mine. he is gunna put me in an early grave.
thank you for your help.

Hey Night, yea it is very easy to stress over your cham. Its funny really, cuz I think they are more resilient than we take them to be, even though once we let our guard down, something always seems to happen.
One thing to make sure of though is not to be constantly examining your cham looking for symptoms, becuase this sometimes is what causes the stress.

Honestly...think of it this way. Your cham doesn't like you... he doesnt want to see you. He just wants to sit under his bask and eat some crix every now and then.
Its hard to remember that we have a fascination with them and not the other way around.

the only reason i think he likes me is cause i feed him. that would be the only reason i would like me too if i was him.

To me it seems like your chameleon is comfortable with you. They seem to squeeze tight is when they feel insecure, so when he/she is trying to grab another branch he/she will squeeze tight on your hand to make sure he/she isn't going to fall...Hope this helps you out. Don't stress though, it sounds like your chameleon is doing just fine..
