Food intake rates for montanes?

Just might what you expect the average adult montane cham to take down in food a week (i.e. fischeri complex members, cristatis complex members, jacksoni, etc). I have been doing 2-4 crickets 2-3 times a week.

I might assume that their slow metabolism (chams already seem to have a slow metabolism, let alone a montain cham), allows them to thrive off of minimal amounts of food intake.

Imo too many owners of reptiles in genral fail to realise this broadly applies to ectotherms, hence over rapid growth/MBD/fat unhealthy critters and shortened longevity
is sadly still common with captive reptiles of all kinds.

re the montane chams,
An adult? that dosent sound too far off, though increased metabolism/growth rate from hatching/birth to maturity probly still applies.
You pose an interesting question to which Id like to learn the answer also.
How reduced is the metabolism in this case, generally speaking? As opposed to tropical species.
