Fogger vs misting system

The humidity in my PC cage seems too low. Can I use a fogger to up the humidity and if so, can I use this in place of an automatic mister?
I could still do some manual daily misting, but it'd be nice to have it automated.

Any case. a fogger running to keep the humidity up is good but definatly should be accompanied by mistings. At least a main misting in the morning and about 2 hrs before bed. I've never had good luck with foggers. A potentially cheaper route would be to get a cool mist humidifier and place it right next to his cage. Then proceed with normal mistings. With a room humidifer I'd time it to luck on for an ur every two hrs or so. And cutting it off at the last misting. JMO

A lot will depend on how dry the room gets routinely. If you will need the misting system to maintain cage humidity in addition to providing drinking water, a fogger (ultrasonic room humidifier) can help bridge the gaps between misting cycles so you don't have to flood the cage by misting too often. A fogger can give the cage humidity a boost between misting cycles but won't be as good for providing drinking water. The fog doesn't usually condense enough on the leaves to drip unless it is running a long time very frequently.

Just get your self a cheap cool-mist humidifier + regular daily hand misting and a home made dripper and your done

I bought the repti-fogger and used it for the first few days I had my panther. After reading about potential respiratory problems on this site I instead decided to cover a side of my enclosure in clear plastic. The fogger only increased the overall humidity by 5% while the clear plastic has kept the humidity higher longer with a lot less risk. (Another poster recommended shower curtain)

Thanks for all the replies. I just ended up getting the RS400 monsoon rainfall system which is acting as a mister.
That and I put a humidifier in the area and added a pothos.
We'll see how it goes....

And added a dripper too

Bought the little dripper (they didn't have the big one in stock) and we'll see where we get with that.
