i am getting a 38 gallon flexarium for a male baby veiled and wanted to know if any one knew how they opened. also has any on ever had their chams locast or crix escape through the mesh.

They have a zipper, and I've never had an escape.

I would not recommend one of these as an adult cage if you have the choice to get an aluminum one or a well ventilated wooden or glass viv.

They have a 2 sided Zipper that zips around the front edge 3 sides. I have been using plenty of them for better than 3 years with no issues. And yes, I have had adult crickets chew through the mesh and have repaired the holes with fishing line. If you don't over feed, this generally is not an issue since crickets will not be left long enough to chew.
