It will work- especially for a juvenile. But an adult will look a little squashed in there. Especially a male. Something larger would be better and make watching him more fun because he can actually walk around and stretch out. It will make providing a good thermal gradient easier as well. Yemens are incredibly hardy and can live in something really small- but it isn't much of a life or nearly as much pleasure to observe them...
