After two days of digging, Desi finally laid, covered up and climbed into her branches. I misted her well and she drank forever, then she ate 2 supers. She is now on her sleeping branch, probably sleeping.
I removed the 38 eggs to the incubation bin and put them next to the box with Lucy's 34 eggs. Can you believe it, I have 72 fertile eggs! Since this is their first clutches, I guess I shouldn't expect them all to become babies, but I will keep my fingers crossed I get a nice bunch.
#3 who is carring unfertilized eggs doesn't seem interested in laying yet. How long before a receptive female will develop eggs on her own? I would like to try to figure out approximately when she might lay.
Thank you all for your patience and support.
