* Your Chameleon - 3 month old male Sambava Panther, have had him for 6 days.

* Handling - Have only handled him 3 times to take him outside for some sun time, pictures, and cage cleaning.

* Feeding - He is currently eating small crickets at 7am (gutloaded with Carrot, Orange, and apple.) and have given him 4 wax worms in the past week.

* Supplements -Rep-Cal without D3 every feeding. Dusted his crickets with Sticky Tongue Farms Calcium with D3 friday, haven't dusted with vitamins just yet. Waiting to do it this coming friday (Rep-Cal Reptivite).

* Watering - I mist with a hand held mister 4 times a day for a minute, have a double dripper going most of the day, and do the last mist an hour before "lights out".

* Fecal Description - Solid brown (big) with white urates with tiny bit of yellow. No fecal testing.

* History - Purchased from Amazing Blue Reptiles and is all I know.

Cage Info:

* Cage Type - All screen 12x12x28

* Lighting - 12 hours on, 12 hours off. 5.0 Repti-Sun linear tube bulb, 75 watt basking light about 6 inches from the top.

* Temperature - Don't know the floor temps. 75 to 80 basking temps (Zilla Digital Thermometer and Hygrometer)

* Humidity - 50 to 90 percent, misting and dripper.

* Plants - Live Ficus and fake foliage to fill cage out.

* Placement - Next to my sons bed in our bedroom 2 feet off of the floor. Top of cage is about 4 ft and a half off of the floor. No vents or fans, no widows.

* Location - San Diego Ca.

Current Problem - No problem, just filled this out because someone suggested me to. :D

do you have one of those thermometers with a thin cable extension so you can put it anywhere you want? i would test different spots in the cage and position the basking branches just right, and have two that are staggered so your cham can choose to go to the lower one to cool down slightly.

i would suggest throwing a small amount of cricket crack in with your wet gutload, it is full of bee pollen and baker's yeast and various veggies. by the way i am getting 1000 free crickets, so I won't need any from you for now...i can hook you up with superworms, waxworms, etc. hit me up on facebook!

other things: get a cheap automatic timer, it will turn your lights on and off for you at the same time everyday. Probably like $12. I would also try the gutload salsa idea...when u freeze vegetables you crush the cell walls, which makes it easier for the crickets to consume the veggies.
