fiberglass mesh

Can I use fiberglass mesh for my DIY cage Im going to build? I will be cup feeding so the crickets wont escape and be able to chew through the fiberglass mesh. Is it safe for a chameleon?

I understand it's safe for chams, but even if the crickets are fed in cups, they can still get out. I would suggest aluminum screen better because it is sturdier and doesn't break as easy as mesh imo. But if you really think the mesh is better, go with what you want. Just suggesting

I currently have a mesh cage for Pepito, my male veiled. It's perfectly safe but crickets have chewed through before. (I'm not the first owner of this cage.) I cup feed so it works well. And roaches wont chew on the cage in my experience.

Thanks, I'm going to go with the fiberglass mesh because it is just easier and I cant find the right aluminum screen. Thanks!
