Female Xantholophus

I'm interested in seeing pictures of female xantholophus'. Especially ones that are 5 months old, and up. I am also curious as to how many xantholophus keepers we have on this forum?

No xanths here, I'm still waiting for a j.j. keeper to respond

I was about to respond to your email but I might as well do it here. Considering the problems that she had, as well as the difficulty in raising neo jackson's anyway, you should be very proud of your success with Lali. Post her pictures! Tell her story. I'd been wondering how Lali turned out for a while, thanks for the update. Mr. Triggs is lookin' good too!

I still haven't gotten the hang of posting pics on here.... be thankful actually. I'd be relentless I am so proud of their developement and the fact that Lali is still with us. Thanks for the thumbs up, Kent. Much appreciated. :D

Fine. Keeping being modest and I'll do it. :D

I think most know how difficult it is to raise neo Jackson's. These are her first, received when they were what? Four weeks? The little female has some ailments, there was a very hot summer with difficult to control temps, she was struggling at one point to where she was keeping her eyes closed for extended periods during the day and eating very little. We emailed a few times and I tried not to be too negative, but that's a lot to overcome and I did not have the best expectations for her. The fact that Lali is hanging in there and looks like she does....I don't know. It's just very cool and it says volumes about the care she receives.

Her (looks like she's got a little horn?):

pretty sure

i'm not positive but i think from all of the descriptions i've read that mine in a xanth. she had 10 babies not long ago, all of which are still alive. i am guessing that several, if not all, are males but until they mature i won't be sure. the horn nubs on about 1/2 are quite prominate already.

i'm having trouble adding pics but on the thread 'good news jackson's' i think i have one of her.

Thanks for posting Lali's pic and her brother Mr. Triggs. I got them both when they were 2 weeks old. They were so tiny I couldn't even see parts of them. lol I saw Lali's fingers turning black all the time and she kept falling. It was a rough go, but I was determined not to loose her. I appreciate your descretion and support at that time in our communications. I was given the opportunity to switch her out for a healthy female, but declined. We went through an adventure, getting her from southern Ca. up north here together. She's a trooper. I'll not breed her, as you never want to breed deformity. But I do love her spirit. Hope you find a Jacksoni breeder.

I've got a female xanth that's almost a year and a half and a male that's about nine or ten months so he's got a little ways to go before he's big enough to even make an attempt. I've posted pictures of them around here somewhere...the girl has no horns at all...not even nubs...and the boy has very thick horns that are almost perfectly straight. I'm just finishing up an outdoor enclosure for both of them (hopefully) so I'll post pics of the whole shabang when it's done.

We'll be real interested in the turn of events with your Xanths. Any chance of getting you to post a couple of crisp pics of their faces now though?

I have a 1 male 5.5 month old Xanth, which I have had since he was 1 month old. Check him out in my gallery.
