Define shaking lol i know my female does a shaking back and fourth when on her perch pretending to be a leaf, besides that she just puffs up and is nasty lol when she does at least, she's pretty chill and nice most of the time

She may be getting ready to shed. Chameleons do weird stretches and things when getting ready to loosen up that skin. So they may open their mouth wide and sort of shimmy in place. I wouldn't be surprised if your girl goes into a shed in the next day or two.

Another good way to confirm this is my female(as I'm sure witH males) get very white arm pits for a day or two before she sheds

My male and females have done a little shake before when I have picked them up to quickly. I think it was their way of telling me mom I'm enjoying my spot, don't move me.

Well her pits are pretty white and I've noticed this shaking and wiggling before a shed. I believe she just didn't wanna move cause she usually does the shaking when I'm about to mist and she has to leave her perch and situate herself lol.
