Hello!
I have just bought my female veiled chameleon, named Ellie, about 4 months ago and until now she's been doing fantastic. For a day or two I've found her laying on the bottom of her cage and acting generally lethargic. Her colors have been green, with peach-ish stripes. At some times, she is tinted with an aqua blue. She's defecated once since she's started this. The lighting had NEVER been a problem. She basks regularly with a normal sleep schedule.
At first I had a feeling that she could be laying eggs, but as I understand, she would develop distinct lumps near her rear. I've recently had to pick her up and hold her to her water for her to drink, since she wouldn't climb up herself. She climbs fairly badly now, moving far more awkward and clumsy than usual. She eats about 5-10 crickets a day, and looks very well nourished. It's just lately that I've been having problems. I'm really, really concerned that she could be very sick so please give any input you can.
