Your Chameleon - female veiled, 6 or 7 months, got her on valentines day this year
Handling - basically only when i clean her cage out
Feeding - crickets, dubias, waxes (very raarely), gut load with oatmeal, mustard, collard greens, oranges slices. i probably gave her between 15 20 pinheads when she was young cuz i work long shifts so i felt like im making her starve, now between 7 to 12 crickets a day; usually now i try to get at least the #3 size crickets not the big adults
Supplements - repcal calcium w/no d3 and phosphorus, repcal herptivite, and twice a month or whenever i reup with crickets (i usually buy like 200 at a time and they last a lil over 2 weeks) i use exoterra calcium w/d3
Watering -i mist her twice a day now that shes bigger, for about a minute or until the plants are dripping waterdrops, hardly she her drink but i dont think she likes it when im right in front of her so i hope she does when im not looking
Fecal Description - o she takes some fat dumps, long brown and white ones, and no she hasnt been tested, she seems healthy though not lathargic and eyes seem ok etc....
History - she was in a glass enclosure for a few months but now shes in a full screen cage. o and a couple of days ago i forgot to close her front door when i wnet to go get my laundry for a few minutes, and she got out and i couldnt find her for like 20 mins. turns out that she climbed up to the top of the cage and onto my lil indoor nerf wall basketball hoop thats like a foot above the cage (i dont use it anymore though so dont worry im not stressing her out with it). but ya when i found her she wanted no part in me picking her up to get her.

Cage Info:
Cage Type -screen cage i think the dimensions are 17x17x36
Lighting - im pretty sure its reptisun uvb 5.0 long lites not a coiled one, a 50 watt reg bulb for basking, on for 12 off for 12
Temperature - floor is around 72 her spot is like 82 im sure itll go up as summer heats up, i use a thermometer
Humidity - right now its at 60, usually try to keep it between 50-70 for humidity, i use a hygrometer to measure the humidity
Plants - just a pothos
Placement -well i live in a 1 bedroom appartment right now so shes between the living room and dining, she has a ceiling fan about 5 feet to the left of her cage. the height from the top of cage to the floor is about 4 ft maybe 5
Location-fresno, cali (pretty much in the middle of california)

Current Problem -so i notice that shes a lot more active in her screen enclosure always climbing from top to bottom but idk if its because shes stressed out? possibly pregnant or ready to breed? i say that because ive seen her a couple of times at the bottom walikng around but sometimes im not sure if shes trying to simulate digging or if shes just having a lil adventure. but the past couple of days shes not eating that much (i use a cup to keep the crickets in and set it under her in the pothos where she can see it from above and get them) but she doesnt go for them and she used to ALWAYS run or walk really fast to go eat. shes also been "puffed" up with her body and makes her throat big to whenever i walk by and shes also for the past couple of days have been a light green color with black spots all over not just tiny specs but it kinda looks like army camoflauge but just black and green. ive seen her mad or streesed out but these colors are like vibrant. ill try to post a pic of her when my gf comes over cuz i have some pics on her videocamera. so my main concerns are y is she displaying those colors, is her walking around the cage normal? or is it a sign that i need to go get a tub and fill it with sand? any help would be great

She could be ready to lay eggs, though she is a bit young, but they do start around 6 months. As they get older, they eat less. Also, the puffing up is because she is trying to make herself seem bigger than she is to scare you (predator) away.
Has she recently shed?
My male veiled who is roughly 4-5 months, cage cruises all day long for about a week after he's shed.
My male gets little black dots on him sometimes too, not all over, but a few here or there, doesnt seem to be anything serious.
it would never hurt to put a laying bin in there with her.

k thanks for the help! im gonna go get an egg laying bin and put it in her enclosure just in case. and im trying to put a pic up but i cant find my usb chord for my videocamera, but as soon as i do ill def post it so we can get better look, btw i havent seen her shed in about 3 weeks maybe a lil longer.
