Female or Male?

[Sir Spiral Tail]

We bought two females a few months back and we have been thinking one might be a male. Here are some pictures of her (it?) and the base of the tail.

I should also mention that our adult male (Whomi) saw her through his cage while I was holding her and got all excited. He colored out and ran towards the front of the cage. Even after I put her away he was still very colorful and searching his cage. We have held a mirror up to him before to get him to color out. When he colored up this time he did not loo like her was getting territorial.

Appears to be a female to me, I am almost certain. I would have to study the tail base longer and from different angles to give you a sure answer.

I guess I should add WHY we thought she was a he. She grew a LOT faster and even though she is younger, she is a lot bigger than our other female. She is also a lot more colorful than our other female.

im kinda new to the whole sexing thing, but the first pic deff looks girly, the second pic could be a little deceving though lol. but straight as an arrow, your kid is a lady.
