Female not taking the Male :(

So I was a little worried my female may be gravid with duds since my male and female saw each other a bit ago. Today I put my male in my female's cage and I don't think she was very happy. She curled up real tight, tail rolled, got really dark and presented dark rings. I put him back, and shes just now getting a little more relaxed. Darn, and I wanted to breed them before July :/

I would keep trying every week. I have had a female reject for a few times than accept after a couple of days, even while probably retaining.

Me too. That's a great point, females tend to be very territorial with there own space

I'll try her in his cage. I read that you should put the more active one in the more territorial one's cage. Basically an outgoing person visits a couch potato's house, instead of forcing a couch potato to a strange domain Especially when the attractive other sex is involved.
But ya, I'll try to get Abby to Costello, she has just been a little bit more timid since they saw each other.
