I have no control over it..the last 3 months they have been dormant, they havn't been receptive..I think they naturally slow down their reproductive cycle in winter...she laid that clutch from retained sperm

How much do you feed her?

every other day 7-8 medium crix dusted with repashy calcium plus lo-d sometimes they get grasshoppers....bees...stick bugs...waxworms, silkworms or bsfl....lately just crix

So they're fertile then?

yes, female can retain sperm up to a year

She went gravid without beiing receptive meaning she wouldn't mate because she had retained sperm..small fertile clutch

Are you incubating the eggs?

They will usually mate even if they have retained sperm. Did you try showing them to each other?

I showed her, she gaped and fired up.. so I didn't mate her... I'm incubating the eggs
