Hello all,
New guy to the forum here and I have been lurking/reading thru all the different forums and this site is a wealth of knowledge. Thank you to all that contribute. I recently liberated a pair of jackson's from deplorable condition's at a local pet shop. I won't go into details other than 10 gallon glass aquarium with 1 perch and a 100w basking light....UGH! I have had chams before, veileds and panthers. Anyway, got them home and immediately started rehab. They were of course supremely dehydrated and were drinking like crazy. I introduced food the following day and they both ate sparringly. Well it has been about 10 days now and the male seems to be doing great. He is eating like a horse and seems much much better.
The female on the other hand is up and down. She was eating but now I have not seen her eat in a couple days. She is still actively drinking and cruising her cage but am not sure why she isn't eating. After looking at pics here and on the web I believe she is gravid and want to make sure she is getting the proper nutrition.
Your help is greatly appreciated!!!!!
