hello, i was just wondering if its okay that im gut-loading my crickets with grapes....?? they seem to demolish the grapes and they get pretty fat. so it is "gut-loading" but my question is : "ARE THE GRAPES OKAY FOR VEILD's"??

ALSO: sorry this isnt related to the ""feeding crickets subject" but what hours should my UV-B and UV-A lights be on?? how many hours of dark should they receive??

Grapes are okay in moderation. But they are high in sugars, so I wouldnt suggest using them all the often.

I have my lights come on around dawn and off just after sunset. So the lights are on maybe 10 hours in winter and 12 or so in summer.

You can use greens (dandelion, kale, collards, endive, escarole, mustard greens, etc.) and veggies (carrots, squash, sweet red pepper, sweet potato, celery leaves, zucchini, etc.) I try to keep my gutload as wide and varied as possible without using things that could cause problems (like spinach, cabbage, etc.).
