Feeding question

Its been a while since I last posted and feel i always post with a question or quandary!!!!
My male veiled is approx 14 months old and seemed to have a slow start, not eating for weeks and not really putting weight on but for the last 3 or so months Kevin has piled on the weight, eating anything from 8+ medium locust every other day plus Kale and the odd wax worm and is shedding different parts constantly. He has gone through a stage of aggression but now seems fine.
So my question is, after eating regularly and very eagerly for so long Kevin seems to have lowered his appetite again to between 1 and 3 locusts every other day. Should I be offering food less frequently? Do veileds go through eating patterns? Is this normal?
Thanks

This is totally normal, but you are right, he seems to be a late bloomer :). Every other day is still good at 14 months, just vary foods when he seems less excited about eating. I have crickets and locusts as staples, and my male always changes his mind about which he likes best (my female loves ALL food!)........
if he's always shedding then make sure he gets plenty of short mistings...............
