Feeding pinkies to Panther?

Alright guys...sorry for all the questions...jus trying to refresh myself...lol
But I was wondering what you guys thought about feeding a male panther a pinky mouse once a month to couple months...is there a benefit or disadvantage to doing that...and would it beef up the fat pads on the head???

There are different opinions on this.... But pinkies arent found up in trees & bushes where chams eat;)

Is there a reason you want your cham to be fat? They don't need bulging head pads. Pinkies are blobs of fat and protein without much calcium or other benefits imo. Too much protein can cause kidney damage and gout (painful and incurable). It's okay to do once in a while (no more than a few times a year imo), but I don't see any reason to at all really. You can provide an excellent, healthier diet through bugs alone. Waxworks, butterworms, silkworms, hornworms, mantises, stick bugs, some butterflies and moths, etc. can all be added for variety (without detrimental consequences like pinkies could have) if that's what your looking for.
