feeding dead insects

Since im in Sweden where it is freaking ice age right now none of the insect breeders will send them by mail, only dry feeders. Is it possible to get my chammie to eat them? She wont eat out of my hand right now so Im forced to feed from cup. What do you guys think?

I am not 100% sure but I think they need live insects, but I think that answer may have been in response to a question about feeding insects that they had but died, so I don't know if the same applies to insects that were deliberately killed and preserved. You may be able to buy eggs to hatch and raise such as silk and hornworms.

okey thanks. I´ve been looking crazy for silkworms in sweden... We only got dubias, crickets, mealworms and supers :/

Is there anywhere you can drive to, to pick them up in person? Or any reptile groups you can join where someone can help you out?

Just raise your own, that way you aren't stuck in the winter not being able to get live feeders. They really need live feeders, as you have no idea the nutritional content (or lack thereof) of feeders that died/were killed before being gutloaded. Good luck! :D
