I do something similar but i use a gatorade bottle. i than cover the whole think with duct tape, because my cham will try and shoot through the plastic. the duct tape is also good at covering up any sharp edges. I than attach it to the side of the cage with velcore and than lead a vine to the opening so he can sit and eat with out any akward angles. it works really well. the one thing i make sure is that i use large pieces of duct tape so that my cham cant acidentaly swallow any. I than use some mesh i cut off my backyard screen door, and glue it inside the bottle. that gives the crikets and bugs something to climb and cling too.
