I want to create a feeding cup shallow enough for a baby veiled to easily attack but tall enough to keep the crickets inside. How deep should should the cup be? And how do you guys recommend attaching it to the vegetation in the enclosure.

I'm a newb and i've purchased the screameleons baby kit to start out on. I've read on the forums that they are good for up to 9 months. The only thing it doesn't have a feeder cup and the vegetation is off the ground.

Usually something a bit taller than a "I cant believe its not butter" container. That itself might work...but an inch or so taller would be perfect. 5"

With that you can poke a hole in the top near the rim and tie it to a plant or something with a twist tie.

The small deli cups, glue a stick across the top, and maybe try to add a stick pointing down if for what ever reason they did fall in. also make sure the bottom is cut out and replaced with alluminum/cloth mesh.

My little tikes get pheonix worm containers. They are black, and little white dusted feeders show up like targets.

I also always drill several small holes in my feeder cups, to allow mist water to drain and prevent feeders from drowning.
