Feeding amount question

Hey guys. How many times a week do you usually feed your chameleons? I have heard that by overfeeding them may cause their life expectancy to shrink is that true? I feed mines about 3 critters (crickets or meal worms) every other day.

Not sure what the gender is but its for a Jackson Chameleon and I believe he`s nearly 1 year old.

if its a jacksons xanth, horns is a boy, no horns or one small rostral horn is a girl.

Then you have a boy.

Normally jax don't eat a much as othe rspecies, but is more or less let him eat whatever he can consume in about five to ten minutes.

While some chams will over eat, most don't. So just feed him what he can eat.

He'll tell you when he's not hungry anymore.
