eye won't open

i got a baby veiled chameleon about a month ago. when i got her, her left eye wouldn't open. i read on here that it might be a lack of humidity. so i have been putting her in the shower for the last couple of days. so i was wondering if that would help her eye out, and if it does how long would it take to fully open back up. there was a point that her eye was open, but it looked dry.

age Info: 2 months i think, not sure how old she was when i bought her

day- 80 night- 75 i have a heat gauge

i can get the humidity to 80 but it only stays for about 20 minutes after i spray it.
* Plants - Are you using live plants? If so, what kind? i use live plants, not sure what kind they are
* Placement - Where is your cage located? Is it near any fans, air vents, or high traffic areas? At what height is the top of the cage relative to your room floor? its located in my kitchen its not near any vents or fans

* Feeding - What are you feeding your cham? What amount? What is the schedule? How are you gut-loading your feeders? im feeding her crickets, about 5 of them a day. i feed them collard greens

* Watering - What kind of watering technique do you use? How often and how long to you mist? Do you see your chameleon drinking? i use cups with tiny holes poked on the bottom of them and i fill them up so they will drip. i spray the cage about twice a day

day- 80 night- 75 i have a heat gauge 80 degrees basking or ambient. I would try to drop the temp to about 70 at night if possible

Sounds like she had problems from the get-go if you bought her with one eye closed. This is the case correct, or did this develop under your care? There are many things that cause closed eyes, and more times than not it is not an actual eye issue. Please respond to my questions above and we can go from there. Did you purchase her from a breeder or pet store?

yes that is correct, her eye was already closed when i got her
