It's been a wile since I watched it but if these are the same species of gecko that one of the exo terra exhibitions to Tanzania found, they were found living on palms.
My memory might be fuzzy on the details so I suggest you go to the exo terra website and look for their video on Tanzania.
I've kept and breed them. If you can handle chameleons well you shouldn't have problems with them. For a 1.2 group I recommend a enclosure with minimum 40x40x60 cm. That's minimum. Sometimes even the females are terretorial. They could be productive so look that the females have good ca+ sources.
For the juvenils you need very small food, little drosophilas and fresh hatched crickets are the best
