I decided time to go ahead and switch from a 2x2x2 & 18x18x36 to 4 2x2x4's.
Which meant alot of water going in and out and to do 4 of these enclosures I needed to automate 1st.

I am waiting on my float valve for the mist king reservoir then will tie it in after the RO Filter and will drop a pump in the reservoir for the drip system.

I took a 10ft piece of vinyl guttering and cut it down to size and put end caps on and then drilled and fit a 1 1/2 tail piece from sink plumbing.

Then I hooked up a condensation pump and ran the drain line up and out to the flower bed.

So at least the emptying of water is over! :D

I cut 2 1x1's 48.25 inches and bridged the distance between the 2 existing 2x2x4 enclosures, and will work on setting up the other 2 over the next week.

That's going to be quite the chameleon row there! Now if only I could do something similar in my basement... I really like the inside of your set ups too! Especially on the left side. I'm currently setting up a 2x2x3 and hope it turns out similar! Well done

Thanks, it s a work in progress lol. Yeah in one enclosure i have a very shy/timid tamatave juvenile male and unless i put the vines all around he would just hide in the pothos. Now he is out roaming around all over.:D

lmao love the tile :p

Yeah my daughter was kind enuff to let me have a wall in her play room. I just can't play with her toys when she isn't there. :(

Well I think I am done with the primary enclosures and redoing the cham room for now.

I have 2 2x2x4 bgrade cages still boxed which I will section off and use as needed for any hatchlings and 2 18x18x36 enclosures for juvenile keepers.

I am trying to keep myself under restraints and stick to cham's but just got a line on an unrelated pair of super citrus bearded dragons which would be a nice breeder base. and would fit in the room on the other end.... decisions decisions decisions

When I was a kid, we stood in line, to share a sit-n-spin, sometimes with 3-4 people, at the same time!

...and we liked it!

How did you do the coffee can drippers? See when we move were going to have to pray for a 4br house. My daughter will move back in with us (been staying with grandparents) so the room that we used for a reptile room will have to be transformed back into her room. If we cant get a 4br house guess all of our reptiles will have to be housed in our bedroom. My inlaws are terrified of reptiles and give us a lecture about getting rid of them

lol actually those are her plants. She wants some plants when I went and picked up my pothos. We had put them in the bottom of the enclosures while i was setting everything up so they would not get knocked around and would be taken care of. But she wanted them on her table after we cleaned the room this morning. Trust me, she does not want for much... not many kids have a bouncy house in their play room (or did until I moved into the room).

She will sit there and watch them bask, for just about as long as me. She doesn't really understand you can't play with the cham's like she does her cat, and it tries her patience poor thing. I am really leaning toward getting the bearded pair, as she could interact with them more inline like she wants to.

The coffee can's drill small hole in can and insert air valve from pet store. Hot glue the valve into the hole from inside and outside. Then simply put a air hose on the valve and fill er up! Those can's hold a lot of water. I can run it for 12hrs straight and drip 2-3 per second. I am still working on automating the dripper to run from a pump in the mister reservoir and ditch the cans, but I need something stronger than a small water pump. Need to lift the water 6ft hi and thru a 3/16 line takes a bit of pressure it seems. :)

Dragons are a good lizard.. My little girl loves ours. Mine dont care that i do this but You have to clip the nails or they will scratch your little one.

Ahh good point on the nails, used to that with the cat and I keep leather gloves in the room due to having the WC female so I am down for trimming a dragons nails. :)

That other plant is my goto laying bin in case the in tank bins do not seem to be working. I can then put that in the 18x18x36 I have covered in black plastic and let her do her thing. I am learning still and trying to be prepared for the what if's.
