has any one ever used one of these Incubators??do they work good...?me and my cousin want to get a little breeding project going...but we want to have everything ready ahead of time......oh yeah i posted this same thing on the health clinic...lol...oops......but it sounds more like a general discussion...

i havent bred, but i know a lot of people here dont use incubators, they use their closets B)

I use one. It is a cheapo piece of equipment but they offer a good guarantee for like 3 years.

I have one right now with eggs in it, it does a great job keeping the eggs at 70 even when room temps are up above 80. I have a thermometer in there just in case that I check regularly but so far I haven't seen more than a degree or so up or down. My first one failed but exo-terra sent me a new one right away with no hassle. I think the first batch or so they sold may not have had all the kinks worked out but the replacement model works great. I would definitely recommend it, especially if you have montane species that need to be cooled.
