Hi guys, i am new to this forum and had just began keeping a panther. Can the gurus here please advise. I am using the exo terra compact top light fixture with 2 repti glo 5.0uvb and 1 sun glo 75w. Mine is a 24"x18"x24" screen terrarium. I some how feel that by using the compact top light fixture, the basking and also the uvb seems spreaded out and not really optimising the heatness and the uv rays into the enclosure instead of the dome light fixture which i see is somehow optimising the bulb to the fullest heat and rays direct into the enclosure. I try putting my hand into the enclosure, the basking spot n non is only having a very minimal difference. I had a exo terra digital temp with a sensor on top centre of the enclosure which is between the basking and non area. Reading at an average of 82 to 90. Is the compact top light fixture good enough?
