Just ordered all my vivarium supplies!!! I am so damn excited. 4 or 5 weeks from now I can order my frogs. Cant wait to get the vivarium all set up and growing. Got all kinds of plants and stuff from joshs frogs and black jungle. Its gonna be so freakin sweet! I cant wait.

I am planning to get whites tree frogs. They can eat the same feeders as my chameleons.

I would be exciting to have a new critter to work with. I keep looking at crested gecko's but just haven't dome it yet. I had a terrarium full of williamsi gecko's. The are cool but really tiny.

I am really excited. I used to have tons of frogs of various varieties and let others dictate my pets, so ended up with nothing. I will document the whole....long...process. Cant wait.

Vivarium supplies should arrive tomorrow or Saturday. The few things I ordered from black jungle wont ship until Monday though.

But with the luck I am having with USPS this week I am not holding my breath. Still waiting for my damn worms that shipped Monday......I hate you USPS!!! The worst part is you cant complain, there is no recourse for their crap service. Pay for 2-3 day shipping and it still takes 5 freaking days.....venting sorry.

It is not nicknamed snail mail for nothing....LOL. Frustrating to say the least!! Same thing for me this week....said my stuff would be here Tuesday but got here today.

Excited to see the set up and process.

OK, I got the Joshs frogs half of my order and have begun setting up the tank. I still need the other half from black jungle. But here is the beginning. I still need the ghost wood, the other half of my plants, all of the background planting set up, need to get the moss growing and the leaf litter in. Then a couple weeks before I order the frogs I will seed the tank with springtails. It will take a month or two for the plants to grow enough for frogs, so its going to be a long road for a very inpatient person!

Ugh, now we are having a gnat war. Our plants in the chameleon cages grew gnats. We treated those plants with nematodes. Now the gnats are moving to the frog tank dirt and horn worm pupae dirt. There are gnats all over the damn house!!! Trying all sorts of remedies and I'm not sure that we are winning.

The latest pics are looking great! Sucks about the gnats, they can be aggravating. Hope you get them under control.
