Even Chams know not to wear white after labor day...

One of my pygmy cham clutches started hatching... even they know not to wear white after labor day ...I had 2 of 4 hatch so far from a clutch made from retained sperm. Total incubation time was 80 days. Here are a few pics

The other two eggs hatched today

Also, one of the chams that hatched yesterday almost died today. Ive asked this before on this forum but i never got an answer. The baby's neck swells up and starts inhaling and exhaling profusely. He then opens up his mouth wide and sticks his tongue out, eventually passing out, but continues to stick its tongue out and breathing profusely. Heres a picture of what it looks like from a separate occasion

Well anyway today was the 2nd time ive seen this happen, but this time i got some thumb tacs and rubbed the baby's belly and neck while he was passed out for an hour or so (atleast for as long as he kept trying to breathe). Eventually he came back and now hes doing fine. He hadnt eaten anything until AFTER this ordeal. I was just wondering if anyone knows what happened. I assume his airway was blocked by something he ate while i wasnt looking but im not entirely sure.

Anyway heres a pic of all 4 doing fine (for now)

And if anyone can explain what happened to that little guy i would really appreciate it.

I have no idea, but speculations could be it choking on some yolk that is stuck in his throat, he hen gasps for air, but cant clear his little pipe and eventually dies. Maybe next time this happens take an ear dripper and try and sucking out the throat, if the cham is going to die anyways you might as well try a last stich effort to save him. Thats just my opinion and i could be way off. Hopefully some one knows exactly what is the problem.

Well i managed to move whatever was stuck ( i guess ) by rubbing the gular region with a thumb tack ( the rounded edge) for about an hour+ and now hes doing fine... havnt seen him gasp since

I THINK he had something lodged there but im not sure. Well whatever it was the rubbing seemed to help him out.
