Escape

So I got home from work today only to find Tesla escaped! A piece of the screen for his cage broke somehow during the day and he was nowhere to be found inside.

However, having seen the advice of forum-goers who have had escapes in the past I decided to have a good look for him instead of a panic attack (thanks forum-posters!). About 10 minutes later I found him on the towel rack in the bathroom, which hangs just above a steam radiator. He must have decided to hang out there with the warm fuzzy bath towels.

How he got down from his table I will likely never know, the only thing he could have maybe done is grabbed onto the misting line. I checked him over and there doesn't appear to be any hurt on him, so I guess all is well that ends well?

I am right there with you. I have a cham (a brat!!) who has a free range room for just him. i spent the last 45 minutes running my hands down tree branches trying to find him. He always come running when I show up with food and this time nothing and I tried 3 different times. After almost pulling my hair out I found him in the utility room. It is only about 5 ft down the hall from his room but it still upset me. The little shit has learned he can go under the door. That won't happen again. The door is being fixed right now.

Haha, im so glad im not the only one who has a cham who crawled under a door.
Kermit dropped 3 feet to the floor, and traveled 8 feet to a door, crawled under it, then travled 20 feet down the hall (past a dog and cat) and spent his time on my tv cables!

like 3 days after i got him!
